To be declared wetlands, scientists do three tests: type of soil, hydrology and number of wetland plants per square yard. The existing driveway is not wetland but the surrounding area is. Great news!
No! We want to preserve the wetlands. The property has 35 acres. Fewer than 20 acres are wetlands. Then the land rises 30-40 feet. We plan to build into the hill. One dream is to share the wetlands so that people can learn about them and study them.
